I consider miniature sculpture to be an art form in its own right, just like cinema, painting, literature, or photography.

Cinema can portray every period of History: victories and defeats, heroes and perpetrators, great achievements and the darkest chapters of the past. Showing these events does not mean approving of them. It means telling their story, documenting them, and passing their memory on.

My approach is exactly the same.

Through my miniatures, I seek to represent History without political bias, without judgement, and without any intention to glorify. Every character, uniform, scene, and event is treated first and foremost as a historical subject.

I do not wish to embellish the past, nor to erase its disturbing or uncomfortable aspects. History is made of both light and shadow. To understand it, we must be willing to look at the whole picture.

A miniature may be a small work of art, but it can also become a vessel of memory. It can give a face to an era, bring back a forgotten event, and introduce people to a military unit, a historical figure, or a situation that might otherwise disappear from collective memory.

Like a historical film, a miniature tells a story.

That is why my work is based above all on research, documentary accuracy, and respect for historical context.

To represent is not to glorify.

To document is not to approve.

But to remember is essential.

For me, historical miniature sculpture is fully part of our duty of remembrance: to show the past so that we may know it better, understand it better, and never erase it.
